I remember the time when my sister was sick. She can barely move because of the large wound from a dog bite. Scared that it might turn to rabies, I went to call our house physician. After the consultation, the doctor told me to buy specific medicinal treatments for my sister. Having no option but to obey, I rushed to the nearest pharmaceutical store to purchase these medicines badly written by the doctor. I used the medicine immediately to treat my sister. Fortunately, she is out of harm's way.

Spotted Jewelweed (Impatiens biflora) is an invaluable tool when out in the woods hiking. The saponins found in the stem or leaves can emulsify and diminish the damage caused by poison ivy. It's also great for bug bites, rashes from stinging nettles, burns, cuts, acne, eczema, fungal infections, or any other skin irritation.
